Biblical Perspective and the 宗旨声明 for 第九条 Program

CUWAA holds the 圣经s to be the inspired and inerrant Word of God, and is compelled by the 圣经s to be faithful to the religious tenets articulated therein. These religious tenets are set forth in the Constitution of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod and illuminated by the Lutheran Confessions, which the University holds to be a true and binding exposition of Holy 圣经. 在这些原则允许的范围内, the University remains committed to complying with the spirit and letter of federal, 状态, and local laws affording equal educational opportunity and nondiscrimination in admission to and participation in the University’s programs and activities. 然而, 在某些情况下, 圣经, as understood by the Church and the University, requires the institution to act in ways that may conflict with certain regulations implementing 第九条, as interpreted by the OCR and other 州和地方法律. This being understood, the following 宗旨声明 is set forth.

宗旨声明

The purpose of CUWAA’s 第九条 合规 Program is to foster an environment in mind, body and spirit so that all campus stakeholders can enjoy the programs and activities offered by CUWAA free from all forms of gender-based harassment, 剥削, 和恐吓, 包括性侵犯. 这一承诺, as outlined above in the “Biblical Perspective,” is fulfilled by complying with the requirements of 第九条 of the Education Amendments of 1972 and all applicable federal, 州和地方法律.
